This page is the admin page of a PRIMA GATE template that could be used to build knowledge base and a simulation game in project risk management. Here you can identify your project, identify the work packages, and the relationships between them and build your project network diagram. The template allows you as well to identify the risks associated with each work package and the impact of these risks on project costs, project duration, scope and client satisfaction. The Template allows the developer to identify possible measures that could deal with these risks factor and the associated impacts of these measures on project objectives. The simulation can therefore be used to build a knowledge base regarding risk events that takes place in the type of projects in once specific branch or a company.
The idea of the simulation is then to provide the participants with training environment where they will be able to review and assess the probability and the impact of these risk factors on project objectives. And then to take the proper decision on wether to mitigate or accept these risks. In the next version of the PRIMA GATE Participants will be also able to select what type of measures they could use to mitigate each risk factor. The simulation can therefore provides training in decision making. To support this decision making process, Project status information are displayed during the simulation. These include, Money remaing, Days passed, Cost performance index and Customer satisfaction indicator. The degree of reality of the game developed depends mainly on the accuracy of the data entered to build the game data base. The developed games could therefore be both used to train graduate students in project risk management and could be also used by companies to build their own project simulations prior executing projects in real life.
